We made a stop at the ranger station. The ranger took one look at this couple with stars in their eyes and pointed us in the right direction. Iva Bell Hot Springs-12mile hike, camp, soak...what more could you need? And because I have connectons with AAA I totally got the hookup. One of my past co-workers at AAA found maps that outline the PCT for me. So, this is the first that outlines the trail (you can barely see the yellow highlight). Anyway, I promised him I would mark when he contacts me and put on other fun comments/markings...who knows what this could turn into. But...in the meantime, it should be a fun pasttime. I know he's excited to see it when it's done. And I'm excited to make it memorable. I used to spend hours playing in high school...from Beethoven to ragtime to worship.
